EQUIEVENTS - Professionalism in show jumping!

Many years of successful EQUIEVENTS national and international show jumping competitions are behind us. In 2020 we will bring some innovations and a breath of fresh air to Klein Roscharden for our 10th anniversary.

As usual, the EQUIEVENTS Springbreak Tour I – IV will take place from mid-April to early May to ensure an optimal start to the outdoor season. With steadily increasing entries and currently approx. 4500 starting places this competition series has established itself as one of the most popular and well supported events across Germany. For the first time, participants in this competition series can collect points and the top three on the tour will gain a wildcard entry to CSI Klein Roscharden.

CSI Klein Roscharden traditionally takes place during the last week of August, in 2020 it will run from the 26th to the 30th. This equestrian event, known far beyond Germany’s borders, is a highlight for many horse sport fans and show jumpers. It is a magnet for numerous German and international top riders and this year riders from more than 20 nations are expected in Klein Roscharden, including European, World and Olympic champions, with around 500 of their horses.

But that’s not all… For all dressage fans and riders, a big dressage competition, CDN Klein Roscharden, will take place for the first time from the 21st to the 23rd of August 2020. The impetus came from a cooperation between the Linsenhoff-Rath family’s Gestüt Schafhof and Zuchthof Klatte and we are delighted to be bringing this idea to life. The program will range from young horse classes through to Grand Prix and will be a highlight for all dressage fans.

We want to explore new horizons and have created the EQUIEVENTS YOUNGSTER CHALLENGE specially for 4 to 7-year-old show jumpers. For the first time there will be a nationwide competition for young show jumpers with international participation in Klein Roscharden from the 3rd to the 6th of September. This competition is intended to be the event for young sport horses, where the most successful show jumpers of the season come together and present themselves to a wide audience of horse people, breeders and investors. These horses can qualify through their successes in the current season. The best conditions for horse, rider and groom, attractive prize money, breeders premiums for the best three horses in each age category and the chance to win a new show jumping trophy will draw the crème de la crème of show jumping to Klein Roscharden for the EQUIEVENTS YOUNGSTER CHALLENGE. As with the Springbreak-Tour, riders will earn points at this event. The top three points winners will be awarded cash as well as honorary prizes.

Horse breeding and sport has been a big tradition, passion and fascination for our family for more than a century. Our many years of experience, love for and connection with horses and horse sport have a major influence on the planning and implementation of our professional and family-run equestrian events. We want to bring people closer to the joy of horses and horse sports and share this with them. No sport combines two individuals of different species like horse sport!

We hope you will be one of our guests when the starting bell rings in Klein Roscharden!
